Hola! My name is Nathan, but people call me Tarzan!
I'm a self taught day trader & crypto investor with a burning passion to see the entire world with my beautiful partner and daughters. Up until 2022 I was an advanced personal trainer and nutritionist with an online rare plant shop making just enough to get by while bringing up my daughter and training 3-5 hours a day, competing in MMA, kickboxing and powerlifting. I moved around a lot as a child between my biological parents adoptive familes and foster care placements.
Due to never being anywhere long enough to settle I spent a lot of time alone which led to me becoming extremely independent and self sufficient at a very young age.
I won't play it down, childhood was bad. I saw and experienced things that no child should. But my childhood is something that I'm very thankful for because it taught me exactly what not to do and who I didn't want to be when I eventually became a father.
I'm also a firm believer that struggle builds character, or to quote what I have tattooed on my leg - 'No rain, no flowers'.
Having to fend for myself from a young age made me extremely competitive and unbelievably entrepreneurial. I always knew I was different, I always knew I'd be successful, I just had to find a way to make it happen.
I did lots of martial arts as a child but as I was always moving I wasn't able to stick to anything. I started competing in powerlifting in my early 20's, during this time I broke several Welsh and British records in multiple weight classes.
I had my first MMA fight in 2017 and since then I've gone 5-1. I still train like an athlete but due to multiple injuries and surgeries I've decided to step away from competitive sports.
Anyway, I wanted to see the world. I got sick of only being able to afford to go on holiday maybe once a year. I got sick of living the same repetitive cycle, day after day, month after month, year after year. I had so many bucket-list things and places to tick and so many business ideas to make that a reality but I didn't have enough passive income to make anything happen. Something had to change. So I made the biggest and riskiest decision I've ever made. I decided to sell my house, give all of our stuff to charity and invest my entire networth into ideas and business ventures that would potentially create financial freedom to allow us to travel as much as possible without worrying about costs. That's exactly what I did. I sold our home and lived out of my car for a few days with six figures in my bank until I found a van suitable for us. After a few days of searching, I found the perfect van on facebook marketplace. A stunning fully off-grid Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with big chunky offroad tires.
I was sold before I'd even viewed it. I bought the van from Simon at @51conversions (highly recommended) who has done any work I've needed on it since as well as a few modifications that i wanted done. I lived in that full time with my daughter while learning everything I possibly could about Forex trading, Cryptocurrency and E-commerce. The second thing I did after buying the van was book a European adventure for my daughter and I leaving straight from school on a Friday afternoon and flying straight to Paris for a surprise trip to Disneyland where we had the best day ever!
Over the course of 9 day's we visited several areas of France, Milan, Athens and Barcelona before returning to the UK and this is what really sparked the life of travel and adventure. Fast forward to January 2025 and we've covered over 70 locations across 30 countries including Mexico, Maldives, Egypt, Lapland, St Lucia, Iceland, Morocco, Italy, Switzerland and more!
